Welcome to the New Feathers. I hope everyone's settling in all right. Things have been peaceful lately, and it's better than landing in Luceti in the middle of an experiment. I'm Terra, and I've been here for half a year now.

I'd like to ask for some help from Ven's friends. You might also know him as "Ventus." Ven's been here a lot longer than me, and I'm pretty sure he hasn't had a chance to celebrate his birthday at all. There were plans for a surprise party, but things just ... kept happening. [The draft. Aqua's second disappearance. And now Kohan had ran off with little more than a note. There's a noticeable pause in the message before Terra continues.] I'd appreciate any help.

Something like a bike. Doesn't require quite as much balance as Ven's does.

Yeah probably not. Ven's looks more like my skateboard, even if I didn't get a good look at it. But I'll admit, kind of jealous you guys got those for transportation.

Not a lot of good they do us here, with them being sealed away by the barrier. Or... [He shakes his head faintly.] By whatever it is the barrier emits.

They really only work outside of it? Ven didn't tell me that part.

Yeah. I don't really get it, being able to suppress the Keyblade's power like that. But Luceti is strange.

[perplexme]

It could be worse. There was a time when we couldn't summon the weapons away. We had to carry them everywhere. At least things seem to have gotten better.

[erodingearth]

You couldn't summon them away? [He's never heard of that.] Was it another experiment?

[perplexme]

[Headshake.] Well it might have been, I'm not sure. I sort of forgot all about it when things went back to normal.

[erodingearth]

[This is a confused look, Roxas. You just managed to confuse him even more by explaining.]

...never mind. So what does Aqua's look like then? Her glider, I mean.

[erodingearth]

Hers is... [...How to describe it?] It's more similar to mine than Ven's.

[But he needs to face that confusion.] What do you mean, you forgot all about it?

[perplexme]

Wonder why Ven's is different.

It might have been something I dreamed of. Sometimes my memories and my dreams still get confused...[It's as best an answer as he can give, really.]

They all fit our different fighting styles. Ven's all about speed and maneuverability. Aqua could use hers to attack from afar. Mine is built strong enough for me to ram right into Unversed. [He finds himself vaguely thinking about that little blue alien, Experiment 626, and the spaceship he had been imprisoned in.]

Sometimes? Not often, I hope.

Makes enough sense...it's kind of like how all of us in the Organization have weapons that fit our elements. I think...

...not very often anymore, no. Not as often as it used to be.

[erodingearth]

So all of the people in your Organization specialized in an element? [That's some pretty serious specializing. He wonders how well that had worked out for them.]

[He slowly nods, though he's still not quite sure what to make of it. Experiencing these things in Luceti was one thing. But experiencing them and then forgetting?]

[perplexme]

Uh huh. ...let's see, Xigbar used space, Xaldin used wind, Vexen used ice, Lexaeus used the earth, Zexion used illusions, Saix used the moon, Axel uses fire, Demyx used water, Luxord used time manipulation, Larxene used lightning, Marluxia used flowers and Xion and I use light.

It got kind of complex...but everybody used their elements to fight.

[It happens when your memories and your whole life get manipulated. That can really mess a person up.]

[That ... was a lot of elements. And none of the names really sounded familiar. Thirteen members.] It sounds like that group would be very formidable fighting together. [But weaknesses would be pretty glaring fighting alone.]

[perplexme]

[A shrug.] Assuming everybody actually got along, yeah. We were sent on missions together sometimes but a lot of the time only a few of us really worked together. A couple of people used to ditch me in the middle of missions to do other stuff. [You know, like Demyx. Jerk.]

And then the Superior never went on missions. He sent us to do all of his dirty work instead.

[erodingearth]

[Terra frowns slightly at this new information.] No one really got along? Or was there some kind of competition?

...The Superior? [He wondered which one Roxas mentioned was the leader.]

[perplexme]

When people want something badly enough, they'll do all sorts of crazy things to get it. There were...a lot of things going on inside the Organization that I didn't know about until later.

Yeah. Xemnas. [It's fairly obvious that this was the man that Roxas loathed the most.] He was the leader of the Organization; all of the plans and missions came from him, and he's done so many things I can never forgive him for.

...he found me, you know. Xemnas, I mean. Right after I was born, I didn't know who I was or where I was, but Xemnas found me and brought me to the castle. And he gave me my new name, too. He's the one who named me Roxas. I guess that's all I can be happy about. And I guess if he hadn't brought me back to Never Was, I wouldn't have met Axel and Xion. But beyond that? I'm glad I left and that Sora took care of him.

[erodingearth]

[He listens in silence as Roxas speaks, keeping his eyes on the water for a good while. It sounded like he was getting closer to what led to Roxas' notably ... coarser, angrier traits.]

You mentioned dirty work. Was this Xemnas using the Organization as a whole?

[perplexme]

You could say that. Xemnas only had one goal, and he didn't care how he got it. He'd use us and dispose of us when we weren't needed anymore. Death wasn't a big loss to him. All he cared about was Kingdom Hearts.

[erodingearth]

...Kingdom Hearts. [A chill runs down his spine.] What could he possibly want with it that he'd use so many people?

[perplexme]

He wants his heart back...and probably even more than that. He's crazy. He's always on a powertrip.
