I'd like to ask for some help from Ven's friends. You might also know him as "Ventus." Ven's been here a lot longer than me, and I'm pretty sure he hasn't had a chance to celebrate his birthday at all. There were plans for a surprise party, but things just ... kept happening. [The draft. Aqua's second disappearance. And now Kohan had ran off with little more than a note. There's a noticeable pause in the message before Terra continues.] I'd appreciate any help.

Not much. It's been fought over in the past. ...So it's not surprising it's still being fought over in the future. [But to even know about it... Why would this Xemnas know?] Always, huh?

Always. Sora fixes everything. [A pause though.] What do you mean it's been fought over in the past?

[erodingearth]

You've ... never heard of the Keyblade War, I take it. [...Of course not. How would anyone know about those legends if they did not talk to a Master?]

[perplexme]

No. What can you tell me about it?

[erodingearth]

Not much. Maybe it's a legend, but if Kingdom Hearts is real-- [and the χ-blade along with it] --then maybe there's something to it. It's said that Keyblade wielders once fought over Kingdom Hearts and whatever power it holds. [Back when there were more Keyblade wielders.]

[perplexme]

...that doesn't surprise me. It's always been about the battle between darkness and light. I just wonder if the fighting's over now after Xemnas's defeat.

[erodingearth]

If other people learned about Kingdom Hearts because of him, or whatever research he left behind? [He shakes his head.] It's doubtful. When there's unimaginable power involved, I can't see anyone just letting it rest.

[perplexme]

Maybe it's something I need to ask Sora...he'd know. [Mostly because Roxas isn't aware that Ansem..kinda helped blow up Kingdom Hearts.] There's nobody left anyway.

[erodingearth]

[He can't help but hear the whispered bit, and he finds himself leaning a bit more on the bridge railing.]

Nobody?

[perplexme]

[He shakes his head.] Just me. And Namine, but she wasn't a part of the Organization. Sora and Riku eliminated everybody else...except Axel and Xion. [He eliminated them himself, whether on purpose or inadvertently.] No chance of them coming back either, I bet.

No chance. So it's ... final. [He sighs.] It's too bad, if they were just being used by Xemnas, too. [...If.]

[perplexme]

Some of them really deserved it, but some of the others? I kind of wish they didn't have to be erased. [But he's shaking his head then, as though he's clearing it.] But I'm not part of them anymore so it's not important. Xemnas got out of control and Sora took care of it. That's that.

I never really realized how weird it all sounds.

And to think, we're from the same world. I can't imagine trying to explain all of this to someone not familiar with ... hearts and Keyblades.

[perplexme]

Most of the time they don't get it, but enough people are familiar with the ideas of the light and the darkness to understand enough.

...But not the other things. Heartless. Stealing hearts.

[perplexme]

Yeah that's the part where it gets iffy. The Heartless, the Nobodies, and those guys you have. The Unversed? We've never even seen those.

[erodingearth]

And hopefully it stays that way. I can't imagine fighting Unversed on top of Heartless and Nobodies.

We never had to fight all three of them at the same time. I guess we're all lucky that way.

[erodingearth]

[Lucky. That was definitely one way to put it. They all had their own problems, no matter what time in their world.]

...Look at us, discussing this kind of stuff right now. [He'd come out here to learn about filters. ...But he had been owed some stories from Roxas.]

[perplexme]

[He almost looks embarrassed.] Heh, yeah...sorry. Sometimes it happens when I want to learn things.

The long, winding conversations? [He manages a small smirk.]

Something like that. Axel says I ask a lot of questions.

But...filters. You're planning on making more of them someday?

[erodingearth]

It's good to be curious. You learn so much faster that way. [Not that he's extremely curious himself.]

It's more of a just-in-case basis. I can't think of why I'd need to use them more right now. [He shrugs slightly.] I don't use the journals much as it is.

[perplexme]

It depends if it's stuff I actually want to learn about. Sometimes curiosity's not that great.

Why? Are you afraid of them?

[erodingearth]

Overly curious, yeah. You don't seem that way to me, though. [But maybe he's used to Ven. And the general atmosphere of always learning and training in the Land of Departure.]

I just don't see much use for them. If I want to talk to someone, I can usually just talk to them in person. [He makes a faint gesture to the two of them.]
