Welcome to the New Feathers. I hope everyone's settling in all right. Things have been peaceful lately, and it's better than landing in Luceti in the middle of an experiment. I'm Terra, and I've been here for half a year now.

I'd like to ask for some help from Ven's friends. You might also know him as "Ventus." Ven's been here a lot longer than me, and I'm pretty sure he hasn't had a chance to celebrate his birthday at all. There were plans for a surprise party, but things just ... kept happening. [The draft. Aqua's second disappearance. And now Kohan had ran off with little more than a note. There's a noticeable pause in the message before Terra continues.] I'd appreciate any help.

When people want something badly enough, they'll do all sorts of crazy things to get it. There were...a lot of things going on inside the Organization that I didn't know about until later.

Yeah. Xemnas. [It's fairly obvious that this was the man that Roxas loathed the most.] He was the leader of the Organization; all of the plans and missions came from him, and he's done so many things I can never forgive him for.

...he found me, you know. Xemnas, I mean. Right after I was born, I didn't know who I was or where I was, but Xemnas found me and brought me to the castle. And he gave me my new name, too. He's the one who named me Roxas. I guess that's all I can be happy about. And I guess if he hadn't brought me back to Never Was, I wouldn't have met Axel and Xion. But beyond that? I'm glad I left and that Sora took care of him.

[He listens in silence as Roxas speaks, keeping his eyes on the water for a good while. It sounded like he was getting closer to what led to Roxas' notably ... coarser, angrier traits.]

You mentioned dirty work. Was this Xemnas using the Organization as a whole?

You could say that. Xemnas only had one goal, and he didn't care how he got it. He'd use us and dispose of us when we weren't needed anymore. Death wasn't a big loss to him. All he cared about was Kingdom Hearts.

[erodingearth]

...Kingdom Hearts. [A chill runs down his spine.] What could he possibly want with it that he'd use so many people?

[perplexme]

He wants his heart back...and probably even more than that. He's crazy. He's always on a powertrip.

[erodingearth]

I wonder if Kingdom Hearts is even capable of doing that -- giving hearts back. [It's not like a lot was known about it.] ...But it's good to hear Sora took care of him.

[perplexme]

...do you know anything about Kingdom Hearts? [But he nods in agreement.] Sora took care of everything. Always has.

[erodingearth]

Not much. It's been fought over in the past. ...So it's not surprising it's still being fought over in the future. [But to even know about it... Why would this Xemnas know?] Always, huh?

[perplexme]

Always. Sora fixes everything. [A pause though.] What do you mean it's been fought over in the past?

[erodingearth]

You've ... never heard of the Keyblade War, I take it. [...Of course not. How would anyone know about those legends if they did not talk to a Master?]

[perplexme]

No. What can you tell me about it?

[erodingearth]

Not much. Maybe it's a legend, but if Kingdom Hearts is real-- [and the χ-blade along with it] --then maybe there's something to it. It's said that Keyblade wielders once fought over Kingdom Hearts and whatever power it holds. [Back when there were more Keyblade wielders.]

[perplexme]

...that doesn't surprise me. It's always been about the battle between darkness and light. I just wonder if the fighting's over now after Xemnas's defeat.

[erodingearth]

If other people learned about Kingdom Hearts because of him, or whatever research he left behind? [He shakes his head.] It's doubtful. When there's unimaginable power involved, I can't see anyone just letting it rest.

[perplexme]

Maybe it's something I need to ask Sora...he'd know. [Mostly because Roxas isn't aware that Ansem..kinda helped blow up Kingdom Hearts.] There's nobody left anyway.

[erodingearth]

[He can't help but hear the whispered bit, and he finds himself leaning a bit more on the bridge railing.]

Nobody?

[perplexme]

[He shakes his head.] Just me. And Namine, but she wasn't a part of the Organization. Sora and Riku eliminated everybody else...except Axel and Xion. [He eliminated them himself, whether on purpose or inadvertently.] No chance of them coming back either, I bet.

[erodingearth]

No chance. So it's ... final. [He sighs.] It's too bad, if they were just being used by Xemnas, too. [...If.]

[perplexme]

Some of them really deserved it, but some of the others? I kind of wish they didn't have to be erased. [But he's shaking his head then, as though he's clearing it.] But I'm not part of them anymore so it's not important. Xemnas got out of control and Sora took care of it. That's that.

I never really realized how weird it all sounds.

[erodingearth]

And to think, we're from the same world. I can't imagine trying to explain all of this to someone not familiar with ... hearts and Keyblades.

[perplexme]

Most of the time they don't get it, but enough people are familiar with the ideas of the light and the darkness to understand enough.

...But not the other things. Heartless. Stealing hearts.

[perplexme]

Yeah that's the part where it gets iffy. The Heartless, the Nobodies, and those guys you have. The Unversed? We've never even seen those.

[erodingearth]

And hopefully it stays that way. I can't imagine fighting Unversed on top of Heartless and Nobodies.

We never had to fight all three of them at the same time. I guess we're all lucky that way.
