I'd like to ask for some help from Ven's friends. You might also know him as "Ventus." Ven's been here a lot longer than me, and I'm pretty sure he hasn't had a chance to celebrate his birthday at all. There were plans for a surprise party, but things just ... kept happening. I hope you don't mind me asking about something else, but... Do you happen to know what some of Ven-kun's likes and dislikes are?

[That ... was a lot of elements. And none of the names really sounded familiar. Thirteen members.] It sounds like that group would be very formidable fighting together. [But weaknesses would be pretty glaring fighting alone.]

The successor takes hold of the Master's Keyblade for awhile, too. If you have the makings, then through the simple act of taking, someday you'll also be able to wield the Keyblade. [...] ...But Riku just handed you a Keyblade? Not his own?

That must have sunken in pretty early for you; you've had to teach yourself how to fight.

I can't think of anything that Ven would really dislike ... but he likes things related to the sky and stars. Flying, space, the air. ...And sweets.

Yeah. It's...mine, I guess. He gave it to me and I was able to fight with it. Still am. I didn't have it for a while, but I got it back earlier this year.

It sounds like she deserves being stopped. [Taking someone's sister to steal her looks?] I wouldn't really call it pushing around ... unless you're actually pushing her around to stop her.

Strange. The Keyblade should first appear to the wielder. But you didn't know you had a Keyblade until he gave it to you?

[A shrug.] Assuming everybody actually got along, yeah. We were sent on missions together sometimes but a lot of the time only a few of us really worked together. A couple of people used to ditch me in the middle of missions to do other stuff. [You know, like Demyx. Jerk.]

And then the Superior never went on missions. He sent us to do all of his dirty work instead.

Right. And for a while I wasn't even sure it was mine because it went away right after that, and I couldn't summon it for a few years. But now I can...that's what I don't understand about it, I guess. Does it sound like something you're familiar with, Terra?

It's no problem, since Ven-kun has been nothing but a good friend to me. He deserves the best birthday he can get.

It doesn't. [He shakes his head faintly.] The Keyblade reacts to the heart of its wielder, so unless something happened that disturbed your heart, it should have appeared to you. [But if Riku had it originally, could it be that it was Riku's Keyblade, and that had somehow triggered Kairi's own Keyblade usage?

He sighs to himself.] Sorry. Even I don't know all of the mysteries of the Keyblade.

Aah, now that's a familiar name! Ven-kun's said nothing but good things about you when we hung out.

And feel free! I'm never busy in particular, so just leave me a message and I'll try to get it back to it as soon as possible. I wouldn't miss out on the chance to help out for anything.

Yeah, and then I got caught up in Maleficent's schemes. Had no choice but to learn how to fight... even if it wasn't for the right cause.

[He looks away for a minute; Riku remembers how 'smooth' things went the last time that came up.]

[He laughs a little. He was glad Ven mentioned him to his friends; it at least made things easier during conversations.] Glad to hear it. I'll be sure to talk to you for some party advice.

When people want something badly enough, they'll do all sorts of crazy things to get it. There were...a lot of things going on inside the Organization that I didn't know about until later.

Yeah. Xemnas. [It's fairly obvious that this was the man that Roxas loathed the most.] He was the leader of the Organization; all of the plans and missions came from him, and he's done so many things I can never forgive him for.

...he found me, you know. Xemnas, I mean. Right after I was born, I didn't know who I was or where I was, but Xemnas found me and brought me to the castle. And he gave me my new name, too. He's the one who named me Roxas. I guess that's all I can be happy about. And I guess if he hadn't brought me back to Never Was, I wouldn't have met Axel and Xion. But beyond that? I'm glad I left and that Sora took care of him.

Don't worry about it. We can all learn together...too bad there isn't just one person that knows everything though.
