[This takes place on Friday, the last day of the experiment.

Terra's been feeling a strong desire to train today. Pullups and pushups in the clearing, combat training in the battle dome... He's got stamina to spare, but there's no doubt he's pushing himself; usually he has the sense to stop once in awhile.

He can be seen in the forest near house 39 exercising in the morning or over in the battle dome past noon. ...Or maybe even passed out on the grass on his way back to the house, towards midnight.]

It's definitely better than just waiting for the next draft. [A pause.] But they choose people at random, don't they? So I guess even waiting for drafts isn't a sure thing.

Yeah, it's all about the luck of the draw. And everyone's got a chance of getting picked, even the kids around here.

[Which ticks him off, to say the least.]

Even more reason to keep practicing and grow stronger. If there's kids out there, they need to be protected, too.

Exactly. And I don't care if the Commandant thinks we should all learn to fight. Kids shouldn't have to deal with war.

[He nods in agreement, but goes a little further with it.] No one should have to deal with war.

You mean the time he was defeated here? Or was there another time?

The time he was defeated here. I was searching for him before I showed up in Luceti, but I never fought him. So fighting him like that was ... shocking. [To say the least. Unexpected. Very trying.]

The good thing is that now we know what it takes to stop him again if we have to. It's kind of like an advantage, right?

Why were you searching for him anyway?

Yeah. It's definitely an advantage, and he knows it. Probably why he hasn't backed off from fighting people.

[He sighs, tilting his head further towards the stars before looking back at Roxas.] He was causing trouble back home, disrupting the balance, and I got it into my head that I could handle the problem by myself.

Yeah. But if anyone should, it's the people who can handle it.

[He sighs.]

Just another reason to train up for it.

He just hasn't met his match yet. But he will soon enough.

There's one in every world, isn't there? [A heavy sigh.] You're kind of stubborn.

Only kind of stubborn? [He's heard it enough times from Aqua over the years to at least acknowledge it.] We didn't really know what we were dealing with. Our original task was looking for the source of the disruption. Finding out more about it.

You do a lot of training now, here in Luceti? [Somehow, he got the idea that Riku didn't have that luxury back home.]

More than kinda, but I didn't want to judge it. [He grins a little. Sorry, Terra, but Roxas still has this weird sense of admiration going on.] Reconnaissance, basically. We did that a lot, too.

[He sees that grin. It's good to see Roxas not look so serious.] Sounds like you were kept pretty busy.

I guess you could say that. There was a lot of work to do when I stayed with the Organization.

Then it won't be a big change if we add some lessons in there.

The Organization? [He's so very, very behind on the times.]

Yeah...Organization XIII. They're...pretty far into your future. [A pause.] You know what Nobodies are, right?

Well, not that he cares or anything, really, but you really shouldn't be pushing yourself. He moves a teensy bit close to look at Terra's wing. How's that cramp doing? ]
